All The Queens Men regret to announce that LGBTI+ Elders Dance Club at The Melba Spiegeltent has been postponed due to public health warnings and growing concern around COVID-19. We are particularly aware not to jeopardise the health of our older Dance Club Members. Instead, we will replace this important gathering with the very first..

How: 

1. Each Sunday fortnight at 4.00pm (EST), click this link HERE.

2. Click the “Allow” screen to join us all online.

3. Zoom may also ask you to use your computer audio. Click “YES” to this option so we can all hear each other.

4. Have your champagne / cup of tea ready to drink in-between dance breaks.

Special thanks to Ro Allen (Gender and Sexuality Commissioner, Victorian State Government) who spoke at our first Digital Dance Club. This Sunday, we welcome Chris Reidy (Manager, Victorian Seniors Festival) to discuss adapted plans for the 2020 festival in light of COVID-19.

LGBTI+ Elders Dance Club champions the recreational and social rights of LGBTI elders, creating a regular space for the community that is safe and inclusive. LGBTI Elders Dance Club complements our large-scale social event The Coming Back Out Ball created with and for LGBTI elders.

In 2018, LGBTI+ Elders Dance Club was presented around Victoria thanks to the Victorian Seniors Festival.

LGBTI+ Elders Dance Club – Yarra City

Held monthly January to December (12 monthly editions), Fitzroy Town Hall. Project partners: Yarra City Council and Victorian Seniors Festival.

LGBTI+ Elders Dance Club – Greater Shepparton. Held monthly from June to December (6 monthly editions), Shepparton Seniors Centre
